Some signs of tornadoes could be, there is a thunder storm already occuring.
Or there is that one cloud that is drooping lower then all the others.
Another sign of a tornado could be a slow rotation in the base of the cloud.
A loud continuous thunder type noise will be presented.
Or the sky might have a shade of greenish black.
Also there is an occurance of debris falling from the sky.
The biggest sign of a tornado is a funnel has already touched ground. Look for a big change in winds. And sometimes there is so much precipitation that the tornado is unseen.
Lighting occupanies tornadoes also.

Hey Hailie! This is all very interesting! If there is any sign of lightening, than there could also be a chance of a tornado! if there is any sort of dabri in the sky there could also be a small one starting to form! If the clouds are moving very fast adn it looks like a storm is appearing, than there may be one!
ReplyDeleteAnother major thing, is if it satrts to hail, then it quickly stops. If after it stops, and huge gusts of wind come, that is most definetaly a tornado! Also like you said, the sky will be a different color than usual, is a big sign also!
Thank you for all the new information! I learned alot!
